A mustached woodworker in a flat cap, never far from his hammer.
Gulzar measures the world in timber. His very first job in the village is a timber order for the neighbors, and once the saw is running he asks for logs most days: “Six more logs today would keep my saw busy until supper.”
He also wants a place for the village to talk, and thinks a carved courtyard bench by the sawmill would do it.
