Getting started
Build the Fishing lodge (3 hours 30 minutes, plus 6 planks) to welcome Neshat. Neshat’s first request is one salmon, “to study its colors,” and from then on the river is part of your day.
How a cast works
- Walk to the river and cast.
- Watch the bobber. The wait is a few seconds.
- When a fish bites, a number from 1 to 4 appears.
- Press that number before the bite window closes. Too early, or the wrong number, and the fish escapes.

Each real day one species is the fish of the day. It has a two-hour window (07:00–09:00, 12:00–14:00, 18:00–20:00 or 21:00–23:00, never the same slot two days running). Inside the window it bites in under half the usual wait, each one pays a 15 Silver bonus and counts double for the festival’s fishing goal. The morning letters tell you which fish it is and when.
River days
River Monday asks you to catch one river creature, and Summer River Day asks for two.
