Gathering
- Wood comes from trees and stone from rocks. Both are the base of every building.
- Iron ore sometimes drops when you break a rock (about one rock in three).
- Diamonds are rare: about 2% of rocks, the weekend stock at Zarif’s, the top weekly festival reward, the day-seven calendar reward and trips to the high glacier.
- Herbs, wool and fibre come from the Healing house, the Goat shelter and the Weaving house.
- Vegetables and herbs grow in your garden. See the gardening guide.
Residents help too. Gulzar and Doulat gather and deliver timber and stone, and workplaces fill their own storage while you are away (up to 8 hours, 12 for the Market and Town hall).
Crafting materials
| Material | Recipe | Time | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Planks | 2 wood | 3 minutes | Workshop |
| Blocks | 2 stone | 10 minutes | Mason’s yard |
| Cloth | 2 fibre | 15 minutes | Weaving house |
Each station queues up to five items, and the queue finishes while the game is closed.
Crafting furniture
Stations also make furniture: benches and tables at the Sawmill, lanterns at the Workshop, rugs at the Weaving house, baskets at the Bakery, potted herbs at the Healing house and garden beds at the Orchard barn. Zarif sells nine mountain blueprints for Silver; once learned, you can craft them as often as you like.
Trips
An idle resident can go on a trip: the Pine forest (2 hours), the Mountain pass (4 hours) or the High glacier (8 hours, from village level 4). They come back with rare materials or furniture, and the game sends a notification when they return. Only the glacier can bring back a diamond.
